The Revolution Begins.

revolution--640x400-

I am amazed at what God has started to do in our High School students at Revolution.  There seems to be this move of God's power recently that seems to have done two main things. 1. Challenged our students to take a hard look at what it means to truly be a christian, not just a church attender. 2. Created a genuine desire in our students to really want to KNOW who God is.

Last night we started a new 3 week series called "Growing On Your Own".  We know that everyone has habits. Some habits give life and some take it away; some habits build relationships and some destroy them. Our habits play a key role in developing a relationship with God. Building that relationship doesn't rest entirely on our shoulders-God does the transforming-but our healthy habits can improve our receptivity to who God is and what God is doing in and around us.  Throughout this series we are going to look at 3 different habits that are essential for us to grow and mature as christians in our personal relationship with God; hanging out with God, having accountable friendships, and tithing.  Be praying that God really gets a hold of the students at Blue Sky as well as students from Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Renton, Issaquah and Seattle Churches.
