**Parent Permission Slip**
Junior High Group (grades 6-8)
Our Junior High program is designed to emphasize three things: Faith, Friends, and Fun. We want our 6th-8th graders to experience God in a way that encourages them through the tough transition period of early adolescence.
We meet on Sunday mornings during the teaching portion of both services with the goal of challenging our junior high students to apply biblical principles to their lives. The group starts off with the students having some free time to play games like our nintendo wii, air hockey, foosball, etc and eat some tasty snacks. Next we do a 15-20 minute teaching from the Bible, followed by 5-10 minutes of prayer with our students. With the remaining time we have, before we rejoin the adults in the auditorium for worship, the students socialize and play a few more games together.
We want our students to be authentic followers of God through their own personal relationship with Him as well as in their living out the truth of the Bible in their daily lives with other students at their schools and in their communities.
Our Junior High program also has monthly parties because we believe that it is important for Junior High students to have meaningful friendships with other students who follow Jesus. Download Blue Sky Youth permission slip
