3rd-5th Grade Kids'
Our teachers will be ready to welcome your child up to 20 minutes before the service begins. If it's your first time visiting Blue Sky, please go to the Kids' Host Station at the East end of our main lobby. Our Kids' Host will help you find our Blue Sky Kids' Program classes, and help you register your 3rd-5th grader(s) in the right class.
While you are in service, your children will be in a service too. When the class starts, one of Blue Sky's Pastors or worship leader will share the main point of the day with them. The kids’ teachers then take over and lead the children in a game, followed by time listening to a multimedia Bible story, and learning the day’s memory verse. After the Bible story, the 3rd-5th graders break out and their teacher takes them through a detailed explanation and application of the lesson for the day. They then discuss practical applications of what the Bible says and have opportunities to ask questions and discuss their own situations. They conclude the breakout section by praying for one another and having a snack. Before and after the service, children are released to play kid-safe games on the Nintendo Wii’s or play on Blue Sky Kids’ playground until parents check them out of Blue Sky Kids’ Program. You can pick up your child at the conclusion of the service.
